[I Was Born at 17 Years Old]

I was born at 17 years old.

And I am practically the same as

I enjoy painting.

This past year was daunted by my patience;

And so still as only an image of petrified wood.

I left myself to find myself,

and I gave time itself meaning.

A whisper into the wind moved the seas and

I can only hope you heard it.

A whisper again, seconds later, and

it said something different; and

this voice often changes -

second by second -

I am new, again.
