About Me

Hi, everyone! I want my readers to get to know me a little better, so here is a brief introduction into who I am. I am a 19-year-old currently residing in Northern Colorado, and I have passion for the outdoors, art, and writing poetry. I am studying Wildlife, Fish, and Conservation Biology at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, working to get hired by the National Park Service or the US Fish and Wildlife Service in a conservation career in order to inflict real change and improve how humans treat the earth.

At that, I am a student not only to my professors, but to myself as well. I believe everyone has something to teach others and there is a purpose for people coming and going out of your life. In other words, I’m a little pretentious (hey, at least I don’t deny it).

On the topic of art, I consider writing an art form. As an artist, I have been writing for almost my whole life, and have been writing poetry for 5 years and counting. I want to induce inspiration for other young writers like me and for people who love to read poetry.

I am an experimental poet, but I have a very versatile writing style both in format and in language. I believe it is important to have fun with when you’re writing, and not take the “rules” of writing too seriously. It’s important to me that I’m not boring, so I welcome any feedback.

Well, you made it to the end. Thanks for stopping by and reading my works!

Cassidy
